How long do you think a sermon should be?
15 - 30 minutes?
30 - 45 minutes?
45 - 60 minutes?

POEM - The Accuser of the Brethren
The tormenter of my soul doth come…your lost he says to me,
You’re nothing but a sinful mess, a dreadful sight to see.
Just think how often you do fail, God couldn’t love you now,
You know I say…he could be right, and on my knees I bow.
Oh Lord I say, I’m so unworthy, the tears like a river flow,
He’s right, I am a sorry mess, I’m hopeless this I know.
But then that voice so still and soft whispers to my heart,
Pay him no mind, don’t listen to him, of truth he has no part.
For I have called you, it is I that loves you, and I have made you clean,
No demons from hell, no devilish spell can change the plans I mean.
And deep within my heart so trembling a seed begins to sprout,
For that small voice has vanquished fear, and made me want to shout.
I’m free, I’m clean, I’m righteous I know, for He has made me so,
O accuser of all righteous made…it is you that has to go.
I thank my Lord, and love Him too as on this truth I dwell,
I am loved, redeemed and righteous, and all with my soul is well.
